That is the philosophy behind the Bannockburn and District Community Enterprise Board and the Enriching Bannockburn & district project.
Enriching Bannockburn & district gives a name and a focus to what we’ve known for a long time. That to do a job well, you are better to do it yourself.
So how does Enriching Bannockburn & district work?
Based on Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank concept, each Community Enterprise is run by a voluntary community-owned entity that invests back into the local community. Sources of funds may come from the following:
